We like to say that the cave person invented natural ventilation because it’s been around for as long as the planet has. The system utilizes gravity and the natural flow of air, meaning that it is part of nature. That is why the caveman was likely to have been the first one to see its effects. In fact, many ancient cultures have shown their use of natural ventilation. Native American teepees have the exhaust at the top, and many ancient structures were optimized for maximum air flow.
