Propeller Blades & Transmission Options
Moffitt wall fans utilize a high-performance propeller powered by a heavy-duty TEFC motor. This durable prop has a sophisticated airfoil shaped design for maximum performance. Transmission options include a belt drive or direct drive transmission. A belt drive unit provides variable pitch (≤ 7.5 HP) adjustable for final system RPM. This is handy for precise speed control and quieter operation. Meanwhile a direct drive transmission offers simplified operation with no belts to replace or pulleys to adjust. Durable Housing

Product Mounting
You can mount Model P fans directly into the sidewall. For air intake, we mount the exhaust side of the fan inward. This pushes the fresh air deep into the building. A distance equal to 5 times the diameter of the fan. I.e. a two-foot fan blade will move air 10 feet into the building. This ensures the cool, clean supply air flows directly into the working environment.
On the other hand, the exhaust side points outward for exhaust applications. This allows the air collected in the building to be pushed outside. This is especially effective in tight or closed areas with poor air flow exhaust.
