Of course, our team is always available to assist with installation for the DeltaStream. Whether it's remote guidance, on-site supervision, or full turn-key service the Moffitt team is here to help get new DeltaStream systems up and running.
MAINTENANCE PLAN
Moffitt suggests semi-annual maintenance (Spring and Fall) to ensure optimal operation of the DeltaStream evaporative cooling units. Maintenance must be carried out by qualified, trained personnel. Talk with the Moffitt team to learn more about our maintenance service. Each maintenance visit includes.
- Checking components
- Cleaning the reservoir, sensors, filters, and piping
- Checking the water supply
- Changing the air filters
- Rinsing the desorption media
- Checking the automated control functions
- Seasonal adjustments

How the DeltaStream Works
Evaporative cooling is the process of reducing the temperature of an environment through the evaporation of water, which removes latent heat from the surface where the process takes place.
In the desorption media of the DeltaStream unit, airflow travels across water particles which evaporate into the air. The process of evaporation uses energy, which is taken from the air molecules, removing heat. Since the process adds humidity to the air, the total energy of the system remains constant, while lowering the temperature of the incoming air, otherwise known as an adiabatic process.
The evaporative cooling media is designed to allow air to flow freely through channels, preventing the addition of micro-droplets. As a result, cool, dry air is pumped into the building.
